Personal data we collect

When you visit the website, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, your IP address, your time zone and some of the cookies installed on your device. We refer to this automatically collected information as “device information”.

When you offer a vehicle for purchase or for a consignment sale through the vehicle form, we additionally collect the following details: first name, last name, telephone number, email address, vehicle data (make, model, first registration, mileage, transmission, fuel, condition, price expectation), photographs of your vehicle and photographs of the vehicle registration document. We refer to these details as “request information”.

In this privacy policy, “personal data” refers to both device information and request information.

How do we use your personal data?

We use the request information we collect to process your request, to prepare an assessment of your vehicle and to contact you.

We use the device information we collect to ensure the website functions correctly and to improve it.

Disclosure to third parties

We do not disclose your personal data to third parties, except where this is necessary to process your request (for example when a potential buyer has to be informed in the context of a consignment sale) or where we are legally obliged to do so.

To operate the website we use service providers that process personal data on our behalf. Data may be transferred to countries outside Switzerland and the European Union, in particular to the USA.

Services and technologies in use

• Lovable: The website is technically provided and delivered through this platform. This involves the device information described above.
• Supabase: Requests from the vehicle form are stored in a database. The vehicle photographs and photographs of the vehicle registration document you upload are stored in the associated file storage. In addition, server functions run there which process the requests and trigger the sending of emails.
• Email dispatch: The confirmation of your request and the internal notification are sent through the email infrastructure of Lovable. This processes your email address and the details from your request.
• Google Tag Manager: Google Tag Manager is integrated into the website. It is used to manage scripts and loads program code from Google servers when the website is opened. Your IP address is transmitted to Google in the process. Which further scripts are delivered through the tag manager may change.
• Google Fonts: The fonts used are loaded from Google servers (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com) when the page is opened. Your IP address is transmitted to Google in the process.

Your rights

If you are resident in Switzerland or Europe, you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you and to request its correction, updating or deletion. If you wish to exercise this right, please contact us using the contact details below.

Do Not Track

Please note that we do not change the data collection and use practices of our website when we receive a "Do Not Track" signal from your browser.

Retention of data

Enquiry information is retained for the duration of processing and for a reasonable period afterwards, at most twelve months after the last contact, unless statutory retention obligations require a longer period. Where a transaction has been concluded, the statutory retention periods for business records apply.

Minors

This website is not intended for persons under the age of 18.
